Join me for two relaxed days creating your own expressive Highland Cow using Inktense, sponges and coloured pencil.
Never used Inktense before? Don't worry! I'll show you how these water-soluble colours can be transformed with water to create vibrant colour and wonderful textures.
We'll work through the project step by step, building up the background, stone wall and wonderfully wild Highland Cow. There's no need to be an experienced artist — beginners are very welcome.

About Your Tutor:
I began teaching in 2020 when the lovely Lisa Ann Watkins (Animal Art by LAW) invited me to be part of her guest artist programme, creating a human portrait tutorial for her Patreon channel. Since then, I’ve gone on to create three more tutorials focused on hair—exploring different pencils and techniques—all of which are still available within her teaching platform.
I’ve also written tutorials for Color magazine, CP Magic, and Artists & Illustrators, and from 2024 I began running my own in-person workshops, as well as teaching at Mandy Nicholson’s amazing Creative Art Retreats. I love sharing what I’ve learned over the years and creating a warm, encouraging space for others to enjoy the calm and joy of drawing.
